Playing Cash 3 could not be simpler, but there are various sections of your playslip to make sure you complete. Follow the guide below to find out how to play Cash 3 in Georgia.
Unlike many lotteries, you can decide how much you want to pay per play in Cash 3. The options for most play types are $0.50 or $1. The amount you spend is a key factor in determining the prize you can win.
There’s not just one way to play Cash 3 – you can choose a Straight, a Box, a Straight/Box, a Combo or a 1-Off. It’s even possible to play just two numbers, by selecting Front Pair or Back Pair.
Select three numbers between 0 and 9 (or two if you are playing a Pair). If you’d prefer to play a random set, mark the Quik Pik option and the computer will select your numbers for you.
Decide whether to play the next Midday, Evening or Night draw, or even enter your numbers into two or three of the draw times. You can also enter up to seven consecutive drawings using the Multi-Draw option.
Check your selections and purchase your entries. The total cost takes into account how many sets of numbers you are playing (up to five per playslip), your play amount and the number of drawings you have entered.
Keep your ticket safe until the draw takes place - at 12:29 p.m., 6:59 p.m. and 11:34 p.m. Check the results afterwards to find out which numbers have been selected as the winners.
If you buy a ticket from a Georgia Lottery retailer, you can cancel it within 15 minutes of the purchase time, provided you use the same retail location and the draw has not yet taken place.
Playing online is a very similar process to playing in a store, except you don’t need to worry about keeping your ticket safe. Your numbers will be kept secure in their digital account until the draw is held, and will be checked afterwards automatically.
Choosing your play type is a fun yet important part of playing Cash 3. Some methods of entry offer bigger prizes, while some offer better chances of winning. Go to the page on Play Types to learn more about the various ways to take part, including the difference between a Straight and a Box.
